Our Goodwood operation started before Revival opened
Our Goodwood operation began on Thursday 17 September, the day before Revival officially opened, when we started moving clients as part of the pre-event and VIP arrangements.
We shared some of that activity in our Goodwood Revival 2026 Preparations article.
Then came the three days of Revival itself.
Friday 18 September was Day 1, followed by a busy Saturday and then the final day of Revival on Sunday 20 September.
Throughout the weekend, the Plus Chauffeurs team was moving clients between Goodwood, hotels and other destinations, while coordinating vehicles, drivers and collection times behind the scenes.
By Monday morning, the racing had finished.
The temporary infrastructure was beginning to come down, many of the extraordinary historic vehicles had disappeared and Goodwood was starting its return to normality.
But our work wasn't quite finished.
Goodwood Hotel to Heathrow Terminal 5
Our final Revival-related booking was a collection from the Goodwood Hotel.
The BMW i7 was positioned outside the hotel ready for our client before setting off for Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.
It's perhaps not the most dramatic part of a weekend at Goodwood, but it illustrates something important about event chauffeur work.
The event itself might have finished, but our client's journey hadn't.
For a visitor, particularly one travelling internationally, a weekend at Goodwood can involve much more than a single journey to and from the event.
There may be an airport collection at the beginning of the visit, transfers to accommodation, journeys to and from Goodwood over several days and finally the return to the airport.
Rather than treating each journey in isolation, Plus Chauffeurs can coordinate the different movements as part of the client's overall itinerary.

A very different Goodwood
There was something rather satisfying about being back at Goodwood on the Monday.
During Revival, everything is happening at once. Vehicles are arriving and departing, passengers are moving around the estate and timings matter throughout the day.
Twenty-four hours later, the atmosphere was completely different.
The crowds had departed and the huge clearing-up operation was under way.
For those working behind the scenes, however, the job continued.
While event teams were beginning the task of returning Goodwood to normal, we were doing what we'd been there to do from the beginning: making sure our passenger completed the next stage of their journey comfortably and on time.

Five consecutive days at Goodwood
Looking back, our Goodwood Revival 2026 operation covered five consecutive days.
We began moving clients on Thursday 17 September, continued throughout the three days of Revival and completed our final journey on Monday 21 September.

Then came Goodwood Revival Day 1, as the event itself got under way.
Our Goodwood Revival Day 2 update showed another side of event chauffeur work, with our BMW i7 and vehicles from chauffeur associates we work closely with together between transfers.
On Goodwood Revival Day 3, our BMW i7 was positioned at the VIP location, ready to be called down when our clients required us.
And finally came Monday morning and this last journey from the Goodwood Hotel to Heathrow Terminal 5.
