A Glorious Summer Day with a Spark
It’s not every day that a chauffeur gets front-row access to a surprise fireworks display – but then again, no two days are the same at Plus Chauffeurs. On a recent day job in the picturesque Chichester area, one of our drivers was enjoying a brief break under the warm July sun while waiting for a client at a private event. With temperatures hovering around 30°C and the skies a clear, brilliant blue, you’d think the showstopper was the weather. But no – the surprise came with a bang (literally), as a breathtaking daytime fireworks display erupted overhead!
Cue startled pigeons, impressed passersby, and one very relaxed chauffeur who was lucky enough to be parked perfectly under the action. We’re not saying our drivers are treated like VIPs… but if the shoe fits (or in this case, if the fireworks fly)!
A Day of Service with an Unexpected Bonus
The chauffeur had arrived in plenty of time, as always, to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for the client – a well-known figure attending a summer celebration with a bit of showbiz sparkle. With the Senzati Jet Class gleaming in the sunshine and the air-con set to “cool oasis,” our driver settled in for a short wait.
Little did he know that he’d be treated to an impromptu pyrotechnic performance, complete with blue bursts and shimmering clouds of colour against the sky. The event organiser later confirmed it was a celebratory gesture for their guests – a perfect flourish to an already grand occasion.
At Plus Chauffeurs, we pride ourselves on professionalism, punctuality, and a willingness to go above and beyond – but we have to admit, this time the entertainment wasn’t arranged by us!
