Goodwood Revival starts early for Plus Chauffeurs
For visitors, Goodwood Revival begins when the gates open. Behind the scenes, preparations start considerably earlier.
Our chauffeurs were already at Goodwood today, Thursday 17 September, transporting VIP guests and carrying out movements ahead of the start of Revival tomorrow.
Goodwood House and the surrounding estate were steadily coming to life, with vehicles, event teams and support operations getting into position for one of the most anticipated weekends in the British motoring calendar.
The line of Land Rover Defenders in our photograph was just one of the sights greeting us at Goodwood House today.
A busy weekend ahead
Goodwood has become an important part of the Plus Chauffeurs events calendar.
Following a very busy Festival of Speed earlier this year, we're delighted to be back at Goodwood for Revival.
Over the next three days, our chauffeurs and operations team will be looking after passenger movements throughout the event, with journeys involving hotels, private addresses, railway stations and airport connections.
Major events such as Revival require careful planning. Traffic conditions, event timings, passenger itineraries and collection arrangements all need to be considered before a chauffeur even starts the journey.
Our job is to manage those details so our passengers can concentrate on enjoying their time at Goodwood.
Chauffeur travel to Goodwood
Plus Chauffeurs provides chauffeur transport to Goodwood from Southampton, the New Forest and locations across Hampshire.

Fact of the Day
Goodwood Motor Circuit was created from the perimeter road of RAF Westhampnett, the wartime airfield on the Goodwood Estate. The circuit officially opened on 18 September 1948, with around 15,000 spectators attending its first race meeting.
