Some Photographs Tell a Story
Every so often a photograph perfectly captures a moment.
This image wasn't staged. It wasn't taken for advertising or marketing.
It was taken by one of our own clients.
Travelling ahead in one of our Mercedes V-Class vehicles, they looked back along one of Goodwood Estate's beautiful country lanes and captured our BMW i7 following behind with another of our guests on board.
The bright sunshine.
The dusty country track.
The rolling Sussex countryside.
And our flagship BMW quietly making its way towards one of the world's greatest automotive celebrations.
For us, it perfectly sums up the Festival of Speed.
A Weekend Unlike Any Other
The Festival of Speed is unlike any other event we support during the year.
The roads become incredibly busy.
Arrival times constantly change.
Hospitality schedules evolve throughout the day.
Guests move between hotels, private homes, hospitality areas and the famous hill climb.
Success depends on careful planning, clear communication and remaining flexible throughout the day.
That is where an experienced chauffeur team makes all the difference.
Working Together
During this particular journey we were operating multiple vehicles for the same group.
One client travelled in our Mercedes V-Class.
Another travelled comfortably behind in our BMW i7.
Although each vehicle was transporting different passengers, everything was coordinated as one operation.
Everyone arrived together.
Everyone remained on schedule.
Everyone could simply enjoy the day ahead.
That's exactly how professional event transport should work.
The Heat Added Another Challenge
This year's Festival of Speed was certainly memorable for the weather.
Temperatures climbed into record-breaking territory, making it one of the hottest Festival of Speed weekends many people could remember.
Keeping guests comfortable became just as important as keeping them on time.
Well-prepared, climate-controlled vehicles offered a welcome escape from the heat between appointments, demonstrations and hospitality events.
Sometimes those short journeys become the opportunity to relax, cool down and prepare for the next part of the day.
More Than Simply Driving
People often imagine chauffeur work is simply taking passengers from A to B.
Major events couldn't be further from that.
Every journey involves:
- Monitoring changing traffic conditions
- Adjusting arrival routes
- Coordinating several vehicles
- Communicating with clients
- Remaining flexible as plans change
- Knowing alternative routes around temporary road closures
The driving itself is only one part of delivering an excellent service.
Preparation and experience are equally important.
Goodwood Is One of Our Favourite Events
Over the years we've had the pleasure of supporting guests attending:
- Festival of Speed
- Goodwood Revival
- Members' Meeting
- Corporate hospitality
- Private events
Each year brings familiar faces alongside new clients visiting Goodwood for the first time.
It's always rewarding to play a small part in helping people enjoy such an iconic event.
A Photograph We'll Remember
As professionals, we're normally focused on the next journey rather than stopping to admire the moment.
That's why this photograph means so much.
It wasn't taken by us.
It was taken by a client enjoying the experience.
Sometimes the best marketing isn't planned at all.
It's simply someone capturing a moment because they thought it looked special.
Looking at the image now, with the BMW i7 framed by the Sussex countryside beneath a clear blue sky, it's easy to understand why.
Thank You
We'd like to thank all of the clients who travelled with us throughout the Festival of Speed weekend.

We'd also like to thank the organisers, venue staff and everyone working behind the scenes who help make the event run so smoothly each year.
We're already looking forward to returning.
